Prior Experience:
Since November 2014, Daniel has practiced in Harlan and throughout southwest Iowa. Following law school, Daniel worked as an associate at Baird Holm, LLP in Omaha, Nebraska, practicing in the firm’s Tax, Trust, and Estates section.
Education:
Daniel studied Agricultural Business and Economics at Iowa State University, where he graduated summa cum laude and served as the Student Body President. At the University of Iowa, Daniel earned his Juris Doctor, with distinction, and was published in the Iowa Law Review for his note on the taxation of agricultural bankruptcies.
PERSONAL:
Daniel remains active on his family’s farm in the Neola and Underwood area. Since 2016, Daniel has served as an attorney coach for the Harlan high school and middle school mock trial teams.
